What's your favorite travel destination?
I love the Tyrolean mountains, the Kitzbühel Alps to be precise.
What other regions, countries or cities inspire you?
Italy as a country in general - when it comes to cities, London, Naples and Paris definitely have to be there.

What was an unforgettable sight for you?
Sagrada Família in Barcelona - I was there again recently and was overwhelmed.
Which hotels do you often return to?
The The Rookery in the trendy Clerkenwell district of London springs to mind.
Your favorite classic hotel?
Again, The Rookery in London - and Parco Dei Principi, the grand hotel in Rome.

Uncomplicated, but culturally enriching.

Fine underwear from Hanro, cashmere sweater in dark blue - and my moleskin notepad for sketching inspiration.
What's your vacation look?
Vintage white canvas trousers, a black T-shirt, black loafers and Gucci sunglasses.

What should never be missing from your suitcase?
I would prefer no suitcase at all! Then I know that my vacation will be uncomplicated.
What's your best vacation read?
The weekly newspaper "Die Zeit".
Is there a movie whose setting made you want to take a trip?
The classic La Dolce Vita or the comedy Roma by Federico Fellini - for a trip to Rome, of course.
