Alchemist only opened in June 2019, but Rasmus Munk's restaurant has already generated a lot of hype. With its menu of around 50 courses, it was awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide and made it to fifth place worldwide on the list of the "50 Best Restaurants" in 2023. This year, it "only" came eighth globally. But in the European ranking, the multi-hour experience came in 5th place, combining conceptual art, masterful craftsmanship and surprising presentation to create an unforgettable evening. Despite the price, the waiting lists are therefore long.

He's more than just a boss. Dabiz Muñoz is an artist. Painters have a white canvas, he has got a plate. With a great deal of creativity, he conjures up works that can certainly pass for "theatrical". At least that's what the jury said. His place on the list of the best restaurants in Europe 2024 is also down to his unusual combinations. Think, for example, of dishes such as "Japanese paella". Or roasted caviar with vindaloo curry.

Guests in the "Table" dine at a long table that is shaped like a wave. Private niches can be found as well as views into the open kitchen. There you can watch the team led by chef Bruno Verjus, who has been awarded two stars by the Michelin Guide, conjure up wonderful menus. This includes a dish called "Colors of the Day". As the name suggests, it changes daily. It consists of seasonal herbs and vegetables.

It's all about grilled meat. And it's perfection - that's the short summary of the menu at Asador Etxebarri. The longer story goes like this: Basque chef Bittor Arguinzoniz has been doing what he does for 30 years. Namely, transforming raw meat into delicious dishes using the power of fire. Although the menu is very meat-heavy, Arguinzoniz also prepares grilled vegetables and desserts. Mozzarella is also available - and it's made from the milk of his own buffalo.

You could almost say: "It was 10 years in the making". Because this year, Disfrutar is celebrating this special anniversary. Of course, it feels even better when you can toast to being number 1 in the list of the best restaurants in Europe in 2024 and the world at the same time. The menu includes a festive menu and a classic one. Guests should be hungry when they arrive. Because there are 30 Asian-inspired courses to eat. Not only do they taste fantastic, they also look like works of art.
