HIGHLIGHTS

  • castle park
  • In the heart of the green Ruhr valley
  • individual, unique rooms

A magical inspiring place, which invites you to linger and to return more than ever. A temporary home!

The magnificent heirloom of Baron von Fürstenberg, a member of the FINE PRIVATE HOTELS and QL Hotels & Restaurants, is an elegant retreat for private guests and business people. A unique ambience awaits guests behind each of the 36 rooms. Each room is different and is not like the other, because all rooms are individually decorated, with attention to detail. But the castle hotel enchants not only with extraordinary rooms: There are two restaurants, a bar, ballrooms and lounges waiting for guests. The fine dining restaurant 1831 in the left conservatory combines the atmosphere of the historical place with creative, innovative cuisine. The bistro in the remise with a spacious sun terrace overlooking the main house of the Castle invites you to arrive, switch off and enjoy. In each of the rooms, the magic of the castle hotel is omnipresent. The historical elements, the distinctive appearance and the warm hospitality also contribute to this. Schloss Hugenpoet is a hotel with tradition. The moated castle stands in the middle of the green Ruhr Valley. The cities of Essen and Düsseldorf are only a short distance away. Due to the wonderful tranquility of the extensive castle park, one finds the time at Hugenpoet to rediscover and redesign individual free spaces with nature. A place for unforgettable moments, unique experiences that are relaxing, enjoyable and varied.
