What began as a small lift café more than 50 years ago, was transformed by the host family Müller with heart and soul into a modern four-star superior hotel. As the only hotel in the Tannheim valley, the Sonnenhof is located at the skiing area Füssener Jöchle. In addition, five other ski areas and an extensive network of 140km of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails for classic cross-country skiers and skaters await nearby. In summer, the Tannheim valley was voted the best hiking area in Austria and is the ideal starting point for extensive tours in the surrounding mountains as well as for cycling and golfing.
