December 10, 2024

When tradition meets modernity, something special can emerge—something now proven by two renowned brands united by their commitment to excellence. Though separated by 300 years of history, this is precisely what makes the collaboration between the Florentine brand GINORI 1735 and the British hotel collection owned by the family of Sir Rocco Forte so exciting. The partnership's result is the first Café Ginori in Rome, located within the Hotel de la Ville.

The exclusivity of GINORI 1735 products pairs perfectly with Rocco Forte Hotels. Founded in 1996 by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister Olga Polizzi, the company also focuses on refined elegance. The collection now includes 15 unique resorts, hotels, residences, and villas, each a landmark in its respective location. For the first Café Ginori in Rome, the two brands combined their visions of stylish indulgence.

Upon entering Café Ginori in Rome, located within the iconic Hotel de la Ville, guests are greeted by the boutique area. Here, they can explore GINORI’s refined porcelain creations. The experience is exclusive, as the pieces—also available for purchase—are unique collector’s items. From there, you can move on to the seating area.

As a tribute to the atmosphere of the porcelain manufacturer’s flagship boutiques, fabrics and furniture from the Maison's Domus Collection create an elegant ambiance. From "Oriente Italiano" wallpaper to the embroidered fabrics, the design is perfectly aligned with the iconic patterns of the porcelain. However, the stunning porcelain collections—"Oriente Italiano," "Il Viaggio di Nettuno," and "Labirinto"—wouldn’t be complete without the delicious dishes served on them. And no one less than Fulvio Pierangelini is responsible for "setting the table."
