There's probably no other place in the world where you have a better chance of having a crowned head or a Hollywood star as a neighbor than on the small Caribbean island of Mustique. They appreciate the stunning tropical landscape, crystal-clear sea, and, above all, the utmost privacy. This is partly due to the fact that the island, which is privately owned, is only accessible by boat or private jet.

Additionally, there's only one exclusive hotel on Mustique. All other visitors stay in luxurious villas, most of which were designed by renowned designers. Think of guests like members of the British royal family, Mick Jagger, or David Bowie. Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II, had one of the villas on Mustique built in the 1960s. Currently, however, these three new villas on Mustique are causing quite a stir:

Its architecture is reminiscent of the Hamptons in the USA. However, Villa Sundance is situated on a plateau on the exclusive Caribbean island, allowing guests to enjoy both sunrise and sunset in all their splendor. This magical display is best accompanied by a cocktail on one of the spacious terraces. The villa’s luxurious layout accommodates up to 18 guests, making it ideal for large families and groups. In addition to the large pool, the property includes a secluded guest cottage, lush greenery, and numerous private retreats. Interior highlights include a pool bar, media room, 10 bedrooms with canopy beds, and exclusive furnishings.

What many people may not know: a large portion of the villas on Mustique were designed by Oliver Messel, the nephew of Princess Margaret. His style is unmistakable. Villa Seastar is now a reinterpretation of the original beach houses on Mustique, entirely in white, allowing the tropical scenery to take center stage. From the pool, guests can enjoy views of Honor Bay, while terraces and light-filled rooms invite them to dream. The four bedrooms provide space for up to eight guests.

One of the three new villas on Mustique that instantly captures the hearts of all travelers is Villa Flomarine. Built in the elegant Oliver Messel style, it’s perfect if you value sustainability. The renowned interior architect and designer Pippa Murphy was responsible for the stylish interior, using recycled and sustainable fabrics. She also added a touch of Mustique mystique to the design with two impressive Iksel wall murals. Verandas and sun terraces invite guests to take in the stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands. Five spacious bedrooms overlooking the pool and the tropical garden accommodate up to ten guests.
