Handwritten Collection, founded in 2023, is based on the special warmth of its hosts, unique characters and authentic travel experiences. Guests appreciate the personal aspect of their stay, as their experience is strongly influenced by the preferences, passions and small personal idiosyncrasies of the host. The Accor brand was launched with 17 hotels in eleven countries. These include locations such as Australia, China and France. Further openings are now in the pipeline. Handwritten Collection is celebrating its debut in Europe in these countries:
Cyprus: The Classic Hotel Nicosia

In the immediate vicinity of numerous sights, this hotel opens in the heart of the city center of Nicosia. Sights such as the Cyprus Museum and Eleftheria Square are just a stone's throw away. Guests stay in 54 comfortable rooms. They are dominated by earthy tones, giving your stay a warm and inviting character. The hotel also offers gourmet dining at its Blue Bar restaurant. The Restaurant 59 is also delicious, but more local. Named after the 59 vintage knives that were found during the renovation, the menu focuses on traditional Cypriot recipes.

This Handwritten Collection hotel in Europe has also remained a mystery for now. It's expected to open in fall 2024 directly on Skanderbeg Square in the country's capital. The hotel has 25 stylish guest rooms, including six suites. The new boutique hotel in Albania also includes a cozy restaurant, a piano bar and elegant interiors.
Germany: MUZE Hotel Düsseldorf

In fact, Accor's Handwritten Collection has so far lacked a hotel in Germany. But that's changing now. From November 2024, the MUZE Hotel Düsseldorf will welcome its guests as part of the Handwritten family. The location is of course first class. Here, too, the hotel is just a short walk from the most important sights. Just think of Königsallee, Düsseldorf's most famous shopping street, as well as the numerous museums and the picturesque Rhine. In addition to 60 rooms, guests also have access to a bar, an in-house art exhibition and a state-of-the-art conference room.

The first Handwritten Collection hotel in Romania will open its doors to guests for the first time in 2025. They'll find stylish accommodation in 100 rooms and suites. The hotel is located in one of the most exclusive districts of the Romanian capital. There are plans to place a particular focus on sustainability. Measures such as solar panels and heat pumps are just the beginning. They'll reduce emissions as much as possible. Of course, guests don't have to do without comfort. The hotel spoils you with the warmest hospitality.

The Handwritten Collection is now also gaining a foothold in Belgium. It's celebrating its debut with a 120-room hotel, which is scheduled to open in 2026. Located in the heart of Baraque de Fraiture, it's situated on the second highest point in Belgium in the province of Luxembourg - not to be confused with the country of Luxembourg further south. It'll be a central point of orientation for visitors to the Plateau des Tailles nature reserve. You can already look forward to extras such as a large wellness and pool area with mountain views.
You can make bookings for the hotels that have already opened via the Handwritten Collection website. The hotels are part of ALL - Accor Live Limitless, the Accor loyalty program.
