It's no wonder that people like to come here. After all, Goldener Hahn is one of those restaurants in Berlin that combine a rustic, cozy atmosphere with an authentic cuisine. The dishes change daily. The focus is on regionality, modern Italian wines from small wineries and fresh ingredients. You should definetely book in advance.

A Japanese restaurant in Berlin with its own merch? Yes! The restaurant, which is hidden behind a graffiti-covered and mirrored façade, serves Asian cuisine. You can also find echoes of South America and European influences on the menu. Think sushi, tataki and fusion specials such as sashimi taquitos or tai yuzu truffles. Reservations are essential.

This isn't a restaurant in Berlin, but a Korean teahouse: only open since October 2023, Soopoollim has already secured its place in the heart of the Instagram community. The menu features herbal teas and homemade teas. Owner Yurim puts a lot of heart into her offerings. The monthly specials are particularly noteworthy.

Born out of a passion for coffee, Ben Rahim is a wonderful example of a 3rd wave coffee shop. The focus is on Arabic influences; those spoiled by Starbucks are in for a shock. There's no sugar. The emphasis is on hand-brewed coffee of the highest quality. And milk has no place in it (if the inventors have their way). Merch is also available for fans of this no-BS concept. Of course, you can also buy fine beans and accessories to take home with you.

Finding vegan restaurants in Berlin isn't too difficult. After all, there are now more than enough of them. Caro Daur likes to choose FREA. It's "Full Taste with Zero Waste", as the restaurant promises. It certainly doesn't hurt that the food tastes good and is also pretty to look at. The Michelin Guide gave it an award for exactly this concept in 2022.

From the recommended restaurants in Berlin, we move on to the bar scene. Although - of course you don't have to do without culinary delights altogether. Seasonal and European dishes complement the extensive wine list at Ora. The ambience is fantastic. Because here, you eat and drink surrounded by the remains of the former Oranien-Apotheke. It's worth seeing!

In the heart of Berlin-Neukölln, imaginative ingredients, high-quality alcoholic beverages and an artistic ambience come together. The result is cocktails that are almost too good to drink. The cocktail menu is hyper-seasonal. In other words: here, you'll find a menu where drinks and ingredients change daily. Walk-ins are welcome at this Berlin nightlife institution, although a reservation is not a bad idea.
