Reason to book: It may be called Oktoberfest, but the legendary Theresienwiese will open its doors again on September 21, 2024. This year marks the 189th edition of the Oktoberfest in Munich. At the world's largest folk festival, everything will once again revolve around dirndls and lederhosen, beer mugs and hearty fare. But Munich also has a lot to offer beyond that.
