The Eggental Valley in Northern Italy lets you experience the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites up close: On paths, trails and climbs to alpine huts or to the summit cross. The remarkable number of hiking and biking trails here lead almost everywhere between Catinaccio and Latemar. More than 500 kilometers of hiking trails, four via ferratas, 200 kilometers of mountain bike routes, two golf courses and the legendary Lake Carezza leave nothing to be desired. The huts and Alpine pastures beckon with traditional delicacies, as well as innovative cuisine – often presented unusually, as dining touches on all five senses.

The gourmet offerings range from Schupfen festivals to game and forest weeks, and are joined by evening events and full moon festivals to offer a vacation to remember. Speaking of full moons: the two villages of Steinegg and Gummer have joined forces to create the "First European Star Village", offering a cosmic all-round experience with the region's only observatory and planetarium.
