Beaches on Ibiza come in all shapes and colors: with lots of infrastructure, others are more natural and you'll also find glamorous ones with beach clubs. But which ones should definitely be on your bucket list?

The beach is not particularly large, but it's particularly picturesque. It's surrounded by high rocks and just as popular with nature-lovers as it is with locals. The crystal-clear water is great for snorkeling. Because the water is usually calm and it gets deep quickly, it's also excellent for swimming. Because of the rocky ground, bathing shoes are a good idea. The golf course of Roca Llisa is also very close by.

Cala Conta

Accessibility: 15 minutes from San Antonio
Facilities: Restaurants, bars, beach boutique, lifeguards, parasols, sun loungers

If you're looking for one of those beaches on Ibiza where life pulsates, you should come here! Cala Conta consists of different sections of beach. One strip of sand is nestled between rocks, another between sand dunes. There are strong currents in the open sea, but fortunately lifeguards keep an eye out. The beach slopes gently. It's therefore also suitable for children. If you are a romantic kind of person, you should watch the sunset here!

Cala Jondal

Accessibility: 15 min. from Ibiza town
Facilities: Restaurants, bars, boutiques, lifeguards, sun loungers and parasols

This beach is also among the best - it's one of the most beautiful beaches on Ibiza. If you want a bit of glamor factor, this is the place to be. Because this beach is home to several restaurants and beach clubs (Blue Marlin Ibiza!), it attracts many exclusive yachts. If you arrive by boat yourself, you can have your restaurant order brought to you by Zodiac. Something that's also very cool: Most beach clubs offer wellness experiences. Here, you can get a massage while listening to the sound of the waves breaking.

Puerto de San Miguel

Accessibility: 5 minutes from San Miguel
Facilities: Chairs and parasols, restaurants, stores, lifeguards, pedalo hire

Once a fishing port, the sandy and wide beach is now very popular with families. The bay is relatively sheltered and the water only slowly gets deeper. It's mostly calm. High cliffs and pine trees also make this beach a wonderful place to spend a whole day. If you want, you can also walk through the surrounding hills and enjoy the views.

Aguas Blanca

Accessibility: Santa Eulalia
Facilities: Currently none

The name translates as "white waters". This beach is located in a beautiful bay in the northeast of the island. The water is normally crystal clear and the rugged cliffs form an exciting contrast to the golden beach. But it's also the reason why the beach is closed in summer 2024. The risk of being hit by a falling rock is currently too high. This summer, the rock faces will therefore be secured. Until then, access is only possible at your own risk. However, this is strongly discouraged.
