In times like these, it is quite refreshing when entrepreneurs reveal that the secret of their success does not primarily lie in measurable metrics and business trends, but is rooted in tradition. It is also rare that a company can look back on over 130 years of history, as is the case with "Auto-Linser". Founded in 1891 by Anna and Eduard Linser, they started as a watchmaker, but soon began repairing and selling cars. "Our roots are the basis for our success and for further growth. At the same time, they also ensure that we stay on the ground," says Dorothea Linser proudly, who is now the fourth generation to run the family business alongside her sister Susanne.

However, this does not mean there is no room for modernization - on the contrary. Today, the dealership in Innsbruck and Buch bei Jenbach is the largest Opel dealer in Tyrol. In the last three years, their product range has been expanded to include cars by Kia and Isuzu. In addition, the head office has been extensively renovated while the corporate design and marketing concepts have also been upgraded. World records, flash mobs, the "Auto-Linser" Oktoberfest and much more not only regularly make the headlines, but also create a good atmosphere among regulars. For the 125th anniversary in 2016, however, they dispensed with a big celebration – instead, the budget went to Lebenshilfe Tirol, because charity is one of the core values of the family-run company.

For the sisters, this not only includes the well-being of the community and respectful, approachable dealings with customers and business partners, the staff are also held in immense esteem. "Without our employees, we wouldn't be where we are today. They are the real driving force behind our company," says Managing Director Dorothea Linser. A statement that is backed up by the employee statistics: The 48 employees have a total of 633 years of service, with the longest-serving employee having been with the company for 45 years.

It goes without saying that quality standards at "Auto-Linser" are just as high. The broad product range extends from inexpensive small cars to the premium segment. The company is also proud of its developments in the field of electromobility, where Kia has recently set very exciting and surprising trends with their "EV9". The dealership is particularly well known for its expert advice and top service at both locations, where customer satisfaction is the top priority. So there is no end to the success story in sight.
