Since opening in 2013, the Waldorf Astoria Berlin has towered over the cityscape of the western half of the German capital. With a combination of timeless elegance and stylish modernity, the building is already impressive from the outside. The central location also means it's only a stone's throwa away from the tourist attractions of West Berlin – including Berlin Zoo, the famous KaDeWe department store and exclusive boutiques on the Kurfürstendamm.

Upon entering the lobby, guests are transported to the ambience of the legendary Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. The Art Deco furnishings and the use of high-quality materials such as the gold-infused Potoro marble exude a sublime elegance that pervades the entire building. The suites also impress, featuring spacious marble bathrooms and the comfort of the "Waldorf Astoria Signature Beds". All rooms have access to the hotel's own elegant services, such as a personal assistant or complimentary shoe shine service. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day and an exclusive butler and unpacking service can also be requested.

The architectural trademark of the Waldorf Astoria Berlin is its striking tower, which rises 118 meters above street level. Behind its glass façade, it conceals seven floors of tower suites featuring sweeping views of the skyline, their own living area, a fully equipped kitchenette and separate access to their own elevator. Those who seek even more privacy can enjoy an exquisite selection of breakfast options in their suite. The apex of the 152 rooms and 80 suites is the Presidential Suite on the 31st floor. Named Germany's Leading Hotel Suite by the World Travel Awards (WTA), the living area extends over 280 square meters and offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama.

Another highlight is the Mistral Rooftop Terrace, which is open in the summer months. Bookable for private parties with up to 200 guests, it is the ideal place to enjoy the city sun at a lofty height.
Oasis of tranquility
On an area of 1000 square meters, visitors can enjoy "Germany's Leading Hotel Spa" (according to the WTA) with five therapy rooms, a cloud-shaped pool, the sauna area with steam bath and the sunny terrace. The treatment concept of the Waldorf Astoria Spa includes highly effective spa treatments and enables a complete relaxation experience. The products of the BABOR brand balance well-being with their sustainable and precise active ingredients and meet individual requirements at the highest level. Another partner, Ground Wellbeing, uses its philosophy to create a spa experience that also addresses psychological issues such as burnout, sleep or anxiety disorders through external treatments and counteracts these with appropriately enriched product lines.

A new highlight at Germany's multi-award-winning hotel spa is the professional Hydrafacial Syndeo facial and body cleansing treatment: A procedure for optimal deep cleansing of the pores which removes dead cells from the skin. At the same time, fresh skin layers are supplied with long-lasting, moisturizing serums, resulting in radiant skin. When booking a Tower Suite, Ambassador or Presidential Suite, guests receive free access to the spa area, with a five-senses hydrotherapy treatment included. An appointment for one hydrotherapy treatment per person can be booked in advance.
Indulgence and culinary delights

The Waldorf Astoria Berlin also continues the culinary tradition of its New York parent by offering guests a wide range of brunch options in their ROCA restaurant. The "Champagne & Eggs" brunch can be reserved at weekends from 11 am to 4 pm. For 59 euros, you can enjoy a savory and a sweet dish of your choice in combination with sparkling champagne. For an extra charge, the latter is even available in an "endless bubbles" version. Other culinary offerings include the "High Tea" served in the hotel's own library on the 15th floor and the Lang Bar, with its wide range of classic cocktails served with typical Berlin flair.
