Salzburg will soon have one more feel-good retreat. Haus Jausern will open on 15 December 2021. In the former country house, guests will have 31 individually designed holiday rooms at their disposal. In keeping with the motto "be real", guests can relax here.

New feel-good oasis in Salzburg

In December, the former country house in Saalbach opens its doors. Guests can expect a new style and a new name: Haus Jausern. Lilly and Christoph are taking over the family-run hotel in the second generation and have made their heart's project come true here. With the support in the area of interior design and branding from Studio Riebenbauer and the family in the background, the two have created something completely new. 

The hotel is nestled between gentle grassy mountains and stone massifs in Saalbach - outside the town centre, but in the middle of the ski circus. During the development process, consideration was given to the surroundings. Existing materials were reused and given new visibility. Thus, large stones from the ground became design elements in the house. 

Wellness meets sportiness

In the spring and summer months you can explore the surroundings while hiking, cycling or taking a leisurely stroll through the mountains or the village. In the winter months, Saalbach with its ski area and the adjacent winter landscapes offers every luxury that athletes and nature lovers could wish for.

And if you just want to do nothing and relax before, after or instead of sports, the hotel's own and completely new spa area is just the right place. Here you can relax in the cosy panorama relaxation room in winter and sunbathe on the sunbathing lawn by the natural bathing pond in summer. The wellness area offers further highlights such as a bio sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, the ice mist walk and the large shower. The heated outdoor pool with counter-current system juts out into nature and offers a magnificent view of the mountain slopes opposite. The spa pleasure is rounded off by the exercise room for physical fitness.

Sustainably processed products from the region

Thanks to regional and sustainable cuisine that pampers the palate, the in-house restaurant lives up to the slogan be real as well. Every day from 7:30 am to 10:30 am, breakfast offers local delicacies that can be enjoyed on the terrace, in the garden or in the parlour. In the evening, the chef Lucas prepares a four-course menu, where enjoyment is paramount.
