Thanks to its altitude, Val Thorens is the highest winter sports resort in Europe. From here, snow enthusiasts can easily access the Trois Vallées ski area. And this in turn is the largest ski area in the world with 600 kilometers of slopes and more than 180 lifts. If you prefer smaller slopes you can stay on the 68 runs of Val Thorens. They also offer 140 kilometers of slopes. The highest point of the ski area is at 3,230 meters.
