Tuscany's Sangiovese vineyards are home to Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. The icon, known for its natural beauty and deep connection with the Italic heritage, merges. Still, one does not close oneself off to progress. And so it came to pass that a modern Tinyhouse was recently allowed to move into the 800-year-old property. Of course, this is not just a wooden hut. On the contrary. Casa Ojalà is a design masterpiece by Italian architect Beatrice Bonzanigno. It offers luxury in the smallest of spaces and is also dedicated to sustainability.
Luxury in the Tinyhouse: not a question of size
There are exactly 29 square meters, which are available to the guests of Casa Ojalà in the future. But they have a lot going for them. Thanks to an ingenious pulley system and movable elements, the architectural jewel is constantly changing its shape. The impressive backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Val d'Orcia opens up to the guests around the little house. in Tuscany. It quickly becomes clear: the real star here is nature. So it's no wonder that all the materials used are environmentally friendly. The fabrics, for example, are made from recycled plastic. Selected woods and handmade Italian ceramics complement the guest suite. From the outside, the luxury Tinyhouse is reminiscent of the Nautilus - the submarine once imagined by author Jules Verne.
Design revolution in Tuscany
During a stay at the eco-conscious Casa Ojalà, guests experience the luxury of limitless living. And they can connect with nature like nowhere else. "I am very proud to open our first Cas Ojalà in Italy at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco," said Beatrice Bonzanigo, the Tinyhouse's architect. "The resort's ideal location amidst Tuscany's iconic vineyards, coupled with Rosewood's exceptional service style, perfectly matches the exclusive visual experience the casa offers."
First? Yes! Because the Casa Ojalà is to go into series production. Those who like the pretty little house will be able to purchase it in the future - configured according to their own ideas. Just in time for the reopening of the resort, there is more news. The Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco now has 19 newly designed private suites.
