1 June 2021
Finally travelling again! With the airline SunExpress and the Egypt Air subsidiary Air Cairo there's now a flight from Vienna to the popular destination Hurghada on the Red Sea every Sunday. Travellers can expect not only picturesque beaches but also a colourful underwater world and many cultural heritage sights.
Nonstop flight to paradise
We can hardly wait to finally sizzle in the sun again and hear the sound of the sea. A holiday in Egypt comes just at the right time. The time-out sounds even more tempting when it is combined with an uncomplicated journey, like the nonstop flights from Vienna to Hurghada. From now on, Air Cairo's planes will take off in Vienna at 10.20 a.m. and 9.10 p.m. and land in Egypt about four hours later.
Air Cairo uses the latest Airbus aircraft for its connections. The A320neo is not only comparatively quiet and economical but also offers the most spacious cabin in its class, with plenty of legroom and space for hand luggage.
Just in time for the start of the summer holidays, the number of flights increases to two weekly connections (Thursday and Sunday) in July.
Adieu Lockdown Melancholy
"We are delighted to be able to offer travellers from Vienna a SunExpress-quality Egypt excursion after the long months of Corona-related travel restrictions," emphasises SunExpress CCO Peter Glade. "On the beach or during boat trips and dives, but also in the Arabian Desert - the lockdown melancholy will quickly be forgotten."
The non-stop flights from Vienna to Hurghada can be booked at www.sunexpress.com and with all known tour operators. Prices start at 184,99 euros per person. For entry, international passengers currently only need a negative PCR test.
