The new Patina Maldives on Fari Island has been shining since 18 May 2021. The luxury resort has set itself the task of consistently reducing energy consumption and protecting the flora and fauna of the Maldives at the same time. In June 2021, there is another, already long-awaited hotel opening on the Fari Island archipelago: The Ritz-Carlton Maldives. The resort is accessible within 45 minutes by seaplane from Malé airport and offers a total of 100 private villas, all of which are at least 148 square meters in size and have a private pool. The luxury resort features a circular design reminiscent of the turquoise lagoons typical of the Maldives.

Expected to open in October is the new Siyam World Maldives, a resort of considerable size. With 499 villas and suites in 12 categories, the four-star deluxe resort is one of the largest resort islands in the Maldives.
