"New" alpine hideaway: Hotel Bergblick in the Tannheim Valley
Enjoy a time out in the middle of mountains and nature.
10 December 2020
The Hotel Bergblick in the Tannheimer Tal rings in the new year with a special highlight: The house in the middle of nature shines in new splendor and attracts guests to an extraordinary oasis of well-being. The centrepiece will then be the new indoor and outdoor panorama pool with a beautiful sunbathing lawn, which will make the spa at Hotel Bergblick even more exclusive. Guests will then be welcomed in a completely redesigned reception area, a luxurious lobby and a gourmet restaurant, and will be able to enjoy their stay under the motto of "feeling good".
All New
To indulge in complete relaxation, the large deluxe suite on the top floor offers pure feel-good moments. Three bedrooms and a spacious living room have a beneficial effect on body and soul. And also in the main building of the hotel some things are new: Four junior suites, which are furnished nobly and comfortably, in warm wood and nature tones, wait only for being occupied by the guests. Each room is unique, the furniture is handmade. In the new underground car park, guests' cars are well accommodated in summer and winter. Electrical connections for e-vehicles have also been thought of.
Enjoy the moment, that is the order of the day - on skis or step by step through the winter nature, in the valley or on the mountain peaks. The Hotel Bergblick also follows this motto: Reading a good book, drinking a cup of tea by the fireplace, taking a sauna with a panoramic view. In the wellness, spa and beauty area everything revolves around letting go. Relaxing massages and nurturing treatments pamper you during a winter break. The concept of the natural cuisine relies on fresh products from quality suppliers. Falstaff gives the cuisine at Hotel Bergblick top marks, and Gault Millau also ranks it among the country's most convincing restaurants in 2020.
The beauty of the Tannheim Valley
The Tannheimer Tal, where the exclusive Hotel Bergblick is located, is considered one of the most beautiful high valleys in Europe. In a dreamlike secluded location amidst meadows, forests and mountains, hotel director Daniel Braun and his team welcome connoisseurs with legendary Tyrolean hospitality. The decelerated rhythm that characterizes the entire house envelops you from the very first moment. A visit is worthwhile at any time of the year, but especially in winter the valley has a lot to offer: Miles of cross-country ski trails, cleared winter hiking trails, ski slopes and toboggan runs, natural ice rinks for ice skating and untouched landscapes for snowshoe hiking. The nearest ski lift is only three minutes away by car, while the ski and hiking bus stops right by the hotel. Between Jungholz, Tannheim, Grän and Nesselwängle, cross-country skiers can enjoy 160 kilometres of ideally groomed trails. A particularly popular loop leads from Tannheim to the Vilsalpsee. On the way through the nature reserve, cross-country skiers can enjoy a view of a pristine landscape and impressive mountain panoramas.
