Unique and luxurious pampering programmes

One&Only Spa is the first and only spa to offer the Tata Harper Sensorial Reset, a sequence of treatments that take the traditional beauty experience to a whole new level and engage all five senses: The multi-sensory "journeys" positively impact skin, body vibration and mood. State-of-the-art beauty technology and award-winning multi-active formulas with calming and regenerative effects are used. The result is a complete recalibration of skin, body and mind during a single transformative treatment. The carefully crafted spa menu also includes Tata Harper's Mystique Herbal Codex, a specially balancing treatment that stimulates stagnant energies and restores natural energy flow. Inspired by the Badianus manuscript - the earliest known treatise on Mexican medicinal plants and remedies used by ancient peoples - the treatment begins with the application of singing bowls to the body. The gentle vibrations and sounds are said to open chakras and harmonize energy. A full body exfoliation prepares the skin for a traditional body massage that aims to stimulate the body's natural energetic flow. Finally, a complex facial including the signature Tata Harper facial massage follows. The Nature's Sanctuary Treatment, also created exclusively for One&Only, is designed to calm and relax the mind and body while indulging and inspiring the senses. Beginning with a tuning fork ritual and face mapping, this treatment promotes positive and calming emotions as well as thoughts and affects the entire body. This is followed by a kinetic face and décolleté massage, before the head, hands and feet are warmed by a massage - a wonderfully sensual experience. Other treatments include a Kayuma cleansing ceremony that begins with the burning of tree resin to clear the energy field, followed by a smoothing full body exfoliation with apricot microspheres and a massage with Tata Harper herbal infusion oil to heal, harmonize and protect the physical and energetic body. The Native Clay Remedy application stimulates the tired body with a special full body clay wrap. It harnesses the power of fruit enzymes, purple clay and spices such as fennel, ginger, clove and turmeric, which eliminates impurities and detoxifies the skin. Special facials like the Plant Based Hydration Facial combine deep hydrating formulas with the Tata Harper "Raw Organic Honey Mask" for dry and sensitive skin, which is said to leave it plump, soft and supple afterwards. A transformative spa experience

Skylights overlook the jungle canopy, bringing untamed nature right indoors. A large, distinctive Higuera tree forms the backdrop to the spa's relaxation garden, with treatment rooms and an area for mud treatments carefully designed around the tree roots. Framing the spa experience are sacred geometric patterns of the Huichols, one of the few indigenous peoples who have managed to remain untouched by Spanish influence and for whom the Riviera Nayarit region is known. An eight-pointed star symbolizes the Huichol worldview of rebirth, renewal and spiritual regeneration. To this end, two overlapping squares create duality: on the one hand, there are the four elements of fire, pointing to the temazcal; water, pointing to the wet areas of the spa; air, pointing to the treatment rooms; and earth, pointing to the spa entrance. The corners of the second square, on the other hand, symbolize the human condition. Here, the corner representing spirit points toward the sea; "mind" to the Equilibrium Pavilion; "soul" to the vital area; and "body" to the treatment rooms. Together, the two overlapping squares symbolize "connection," the heart of the spa.The spa menu includes unique region-specific treatments and therapies inspired by indigenous and pre-Hispanic traditions. These include a Temazcal steam bath ritual using medicinal herbs, heat, steam, indigenous music and copal incense to stimulate detoxification and the body's self-healing powers and purify the mind. For ultimate relaxation, take a dip in the mud grotto or vitality pool, or an energising hydrotherapy treatment with cold plunge pools, steam room and sauna including jungle views.
