3 December 2020

Inhale, exhale, relax... A sauna session is not only a balm for the soul, but also strengthens our immune system. If you love saunas, you shouldn't miss out on these wellness oases.

These three wellness temples are the best places to enjoy a sauna.

1

Aqua Dome Tirol

The Aqua Dome in the middle of the Ötztal mountains in Tyrol is probably one of the most modern thermal spas in Austria. Wellness fans relax there in hot springs from the Alps on over 50,000 square meters. Sauna lovers are guaranteed to get their money's worth there. The sauna area, which extends over 2,000 square metres, offers a total of seven saunas, such as the earth sauna or the ravine sauna, numerous water basins, as well as relaxation rooms and is accessible from the age of 15. To cool down after a sauna session, there is a brine grotto, the "Freshness Pool" and a salt water pool. A special highlight: The relaxation rooms "Kräuterbald" and "Zirbenwärme".

Absolute recommendation after the sauna: enjoy the panoramic view of the Ötztal Alps in one of the "floating" outdoor bowl pools.
