At the beginning of 2023, The Mark proudly announced the opening of the first Caviar Kaspia branch outside Paris. Now there's more exciting news on the culinary front. As of recently, you can indulge in hearty delicacies from the kitchen of Jean-Georges Vongerichten. He has created a special menu for The Mark Chalet. It's designed to bring warmth to the cold winter days in the city. In the style of a ski lodge, the Alpen Chalet in New York City spoils you with alpine-inspired delicacies.

Guests can look forward to lentil soup, onion tart and roasted delicacy pumpkin, for example. For something closer to the ski slopes, try the Zürcher Geschnetzeltem or The Chalet Fondue. For dessert, there's a choice of temptations such as warm chocolate cake and Sachertorte. Wine and winter drinks such as mulled wine and hot toddies are served as a stylish accompaniment.
Always in tune with the times
It's well known that there's always something special to experience at The Mark Hotel. During Fashion Week 2018, for example, you could fortify yourself for the upcoming party night with matcha creations from Vongerichten himself in the lobby of the hotel. And you were provided with plenty of anti-oxidants. In summer 2021, he created the onboard menu for The Mark sailing yacht, which sailed through New York Harbour for $7,000 per couple. And now you can sail into winter in style in his latest adventure.

It's clear that the ensemble is not kitschy, but artistic. People gather at tables set with red and white checkered tablecloths and lean back on sheepskins while admiring the rest of the ambience. For example, the walls completely clad in wood. You're almost waiting for skiers to come in and stamp the snow off their boots. The Alpine Chalet in New York opens daily for dinner. And also for lunch at the weekends.
