5 Questions for Konstantinos I. Sifakis
In an interview, the Senior Sales Director of Domes Resorts reveals what lies behind the success story and where the journey will lead in the future.

With more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and PR, Konstantinos I. Sifakis has been leading and has been heavily involved in the expansion of the pioneering luxury resort brand at Domes Resorts. Travels around the world have enriched the Senior Sales Director with the knowledge and experience to further guide Domes Resorts in its growth.
Domes Resorts is truly the talk of the town. How does it come to the rapid success?
Starting with the unique Domes of Elounda in Crete, we have managed to become the fastest growing brand in the Mediterranean. Strategic partnerships with global market leaders such as Marriott, Hilton and Hotel Investment Partners are of course testimony to the high standards we set. But first and foremost, it's the love, passion and dedication of each and every employee that ultimately makes the success.
What is behind Domes Resorts and how do they differ from each other?
Our approach to the hotel industry is state of the art to meet the needs of modern travelers. Currently, we operate twelve small to mid-sized hotels, which are divided into four conceptual sub-brands. All of our resorts offer top service and unique experiences that encourage guests to discover something new. This has allowed us to completely reinterpret the luxury hotel industry and give each location its own character.
You recently opened Domes Lake Algarve in Portugal, your first resort outside Greece. Are you planning to expand further internationally?
Yes, we plan to establish and strengthen our position in the Mediterranean hospitality scene with more great resorts. More about this will be revealed shortly - so you can be excited.
Where do you find inspiration for new projects?
I look for fresh ideas in everyday things like a good book or a movie, but also in the words and deeds of people I admire. I also enjoy visiting iconic hotels around the world.
What is a travel experience that you will never forget?
The summer after graduation is absolutely unforgettable for me. Together with three friends I rented a car at the time and traveled for two weeks around Crete. The money was just enough for the tank and accommodation, but thanks to the hospitality of the locals we have lacked nothing. Crete in summer is a dream!
