The Seychelles are not considered a destination for mass tourism anyway. But during the low season in summer, you will definitely have the beautiful sandy beaches with their iconic granite rocks (almost) to yourself. What could be more romantic than walking together towards the sunset and not meeting a single soul? The same is true, by the way, for restaurant visits and sightseeing.

Ideal climate for active people

As mentioned at the beginning, the climate in the Seychelles is quite pleasant during the summer months. The temperatures are constantly between 24 and 30 degrees. In July and August, a fresh breeze also provides pleasant cooling in between. This makes for perfect conditions for sailing trips, kite surfing and more.

Outdoor activities such as cycling or hiking do not turn into a strenuous activities for the circulatory system. The crystal clear water is between 23 and 28 degrees. Ideal conditions for snorkeling! Statistically, the summer months are the driest time in the Seychelles.

Experience local festivals

If you want to immerse yourself in the culture of the islands, you can participate in numerous great events during the summer months. La Digue, the smallest of the main islands, celebrates the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (August 15) in a big way every year. Sports events, parties on the beach and the Praslin Culinary Arts & Fiesta (September) provide incredible entertainment.
