Sailing the Seas With Millions in Extraordinary Art
The newest ship in the Regent Seven Seas fleet is about to sail with a unique work of art: the Fabergé egg "Journey in Jewels" will be part of the million-dollar art collection on board.

When the Seven Seas Grandeur, the luxury cruise line's newest fleet member, sets sail in November 2023, she will captivate even the most discerning guests. On top of her carefully curated itineraries, she tuns with her onboard amenities. One of the most extraordinary assets – in more ways than one – is her art collection, which, as it has just been announced will include a striking "pièce de résistance" thanks to a collaboration with Fabergé.
Art on the high seas
Fabergé, known for its exceedingly precious egg objects, has now created a piece that shows the powerful, natural elements of the sea creating "The Voyage." It's called "Journey in Jewels" and is the first Fabergé egg that will be permanently at sea. The handmade object is not for sale. It takes its inspiration from the iconic Fabergé Winter Egg from 1913.

It's not by chance that a Fabergé egg, of all things, is the showpiece of the multi-million dollar art collection on the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur. Like no other, the iconic jewelry brand stands for perfection, craftsmanship, and relentless pursuit of perfection. Much like the Regent Seven Seas' aspiration.
Unforgettable moments
Fabergé also has the gift of capturing special moments in time and, with its works of art, also conveying stories that last for generations. So in this respect, too, the jewelry manufacturer goes toe-to-toe with Regent Seven Seas. Because the Seven Seas Grandeur, while inspired by the past, also points the way to the future.

To celebrate the "Journey in Jewels" egg, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will two Spotlight Voyages, where guests will dive especially deep into the world of Fabergé through unique guided tours and captivating lectures. The guide for the first exclusive voyage will be Dr. Géza von Habsburg, curatorial director of Fabergé. The voyage will sail from Southampton, England, to Stockholm, Sweden, aboard the Seven Seas Splendor in June 2023. In 2024, Sarah Fabergé, the great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Faebergé, will accompany the "Spotlight Voyage" aboard the Seven Seas Grandeur.
