Kimpton's First Resort in Europe Opens in Mallorca
The Luxury & Lifestyle Collection Kimpton by IHG Hotels & Resorts celebrates its European premiere. The Kimpton Aysla Mallorca is now welcoming guests to relax on the Balearic island.

Not far from Palma, the first Kimpton Resort in Europe opened in early October 2022: the Kimpton Aysla Mallorca, which is open all year, is a trendy new resort with a variety of leisure facilities on the popular Balearic island.

The typical design-oriented ambience of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has also found its way into the new resort on Mallorca. Throughout the hotel, guests can admire 700 works by contemporary local artists. The interior is equally stylish, with warm color schemes, natural materials, and bright, open spaces.

Yoga, cycling, morning exercise classes, guided meditations, and an extensive spa area: Kimpton focuses on luxurious wellness. Those who want to work out at their own leisure can do so at the gym. The spa includes not only an indoor and two outdoor pools and sauna, but also mud baths and a salt grotto for relaxation.
Massages, scrubs as well as anti-aging treatments and LED therapies are available in seven treatment rooms. Products from Maison CODAGE Paris, custom-made for the Kimpton, are used at the spa.

In addition to extensive spa facilities, the new resort includes two restaurants and two bars: the ZAYT pool kitchen with a garden deli and the SABA restaurant. Here, Southeast Asian-inspired dishes such as sushi and teppanyaki are created with Spanish ingredients. At the SABA Bodega & Bar, guests can indulge in tapas and refreshing cocktails.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants – part of the 17 brands of IHG Hotels & Resorts – was founded in 1981 in the USA as a boutique hotel company with a focus on gourmet food and design. The lifestyle hotel chain now operates around 60 hotels and 80 restaurants in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and China.
