Grado, the vacation island between Trieste and Venice, has always been a popular destination for demanding travelers. The town on the Upper Adriatic boasts extraordinary views of the lagoon, a picturesque boat harbor and a historic old town. It's also home to a fabulous new hotel that makes the destination even more desirable: Laguna Faro Suites is an adults-only hotel with a private beach, an infinity pool and a rooftop terrace.

Inspired by the lagoon

Guests can choose from 34 rooms and suites. The design stems from the world-famous and award-winning designer Patricia Urquiola, whose concept incorporates numerous details from the naturally beautiful surroundings. The colors of the lagoon are reflected in the interior design. Earthy tones, light blue and bright greens form the inviting color palette.

The furnishings include materials such as straw, reeds and wood, elements that are reminiscent of the fishermen who once lived by the lagoon in their "casoni". Speaking of the lagoon, it's visible from most corners in the hotel, including the spacious terraces of the modern rooms and suites. Enjoy the sunset and the lovely intimate atmosphere over an aperitif in the evening as you gaze at the romantic view.

A retreat for discerning travelers

The hotel's spectacular rooftop terrace is a highlight already. Take a dip in the infinity pool, enjoy refreshing drinks from the rooftop bar, and take in the magnificent views of the lagoon.

Enjoy moments of relaxation at the wellness area. Feel the calming warmth on your body in the sauna and steam bath and chill out in the lounge. If you don't want to skip a workout on vacation, the modern gym will have you covered. Strengthen yourself with a delicious breakfast at the bistro. Guests at the Laguna Faro Suites also have the option of using the 900-square-meter spa area and the Sky gourmet restaurant on the top floor of the neighboring Laguna Palace Hotel.
