Chapter 1 - from Tokyo to Hong Kong: Sounds of the Far East
At Controtempo, the world cruise begins before it starts, as guests can already enjoy a tour of Japan's most legendary experiences beforehand. Then they'll set sail to explore the cities, sights, sounds and tastes of the Far East, including Japan's "umami" – the fifth taste – a new flavor that has transformed cuisines around the world and become part of the Sea and Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) program at the Silver Dawn .

Chapter 2 - from Hong Kong to Singapore: Modern Cities, Quiet Energy
Time moves at a different pace here, as the second chapter of the trip showcases the cities, traditions and cultures of Southeast Asia.
