It is probably one of Vienna's most popular spots in summer: the Danube Canal. Here people meet for long walks along the water, make themselves comfortable at one of the few free spots and enjoy the to-go lunch from Joma or, at night, watch how one or the other crazy person jumps (or falls) into the cool water.

Now, a new sight is opening up to Danube Canal goers: White precious metal, golden windows, lots of glass - since March, the Radisson RED has enriched the Front Row on the Viennese hotspot. Located on the upper Donaustraße at the height of Tel Aviv Beach in Leopoldstadt, the lifestyle hotel is the perfect starting point for city trips to Vienna. We like!

The nights on the Danube Canal
The RED scores with modern-stylish design between industrial chic and dynamic-bold color scheme. In the 179 rooms and suites, trend lovers will find peace not only in comfortable beds, but also in the bay windows with views over Vienna.

The RED proves its taste
The rest of the hotel is a bit more exciting: On the first floor, you'll find the Sarāī restaurant, whose silk road-inspired cuisine is just as convincing as the hip ambience. Here, dishes from Europe and East Asia are served, and the palate is in for a treat. If the weather cooperates, you can take a seat on the patio with wall art by David Leitner and toast the sunny days in Austria's capital with fine drinks.

Speaking of hip: The rooftop bar Istros proves to be a proverbial and literal highlight. The bar, with an outdoor terrace, is located in a glass cube that offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city center and the Danube Canal. The new bar thus promises to soon become one of Vienna's rooftop hotspots.

A hotspot for workstations
The fact that work succeeds not only from the office desk but also from a distance, has already long been proven by the workation trend . The new hotel on the Danube Canal has also created space for remote workers on the first floor: In the business center, with a community table, teleworkers can enjoy and work in equal measure - and then exciting Vienna beckons right outside the hotel doors. For larger meetings, there is also a separate conference room, which is also suitable for video conferencing.
