The five-star superior Hotel Maximilian's is one of the most traditional hotels in Germany with an impressive history of more than 300 years. It is considered the address of the magnificent Maximilianstrasse and has been part of the renowned American association Preferred Hotels & Resorts since 2020.

With 132 rooms and suites ranging from 18 to 85 square meters in four different categories and over 1,200 square meters of event space, the hotel is the first hotel on the square directly on the magnificent Maximilianstrasse. The centerpiece: the 538 square meter tea hall with its unique glass dome. The hotel has hosted many prominent guests over the centuries, including Mozart, Napoleon I and his wife Josephine and Tsar Nicholas I.

As the "best urban kitchen" in Augsburg's city center, Restaurant Maximilian's impresses with its show kitchen and sun terrace. The Sartory Restaurant, which has been awarded a MICHELIN star and is run by Executive Chef Simon Lang, offers upscale gastronomy. The 3M bar with its view of Maximilianstrasse is a "place to be".
